Time Keeper Upgrader program
If you have disks, simply run setup.exe from disk1.
or If you have a zip file:
Explode tk*.zip in a temporary location and run the setup program.
Installation into the default c:\tk directory should work fine.
Setup will copy all files to the working directory. This will allow
you to easily delete them if you choose not to use the program.
Just delete the directory.
**The Time Keeper data access engine requires one of the two following configurations:
1) In your autoexec.bat file: C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE /L:500
Note: you may have share.exe already in the autoexec.bat, if so just add the /L:500 to the end of the line.
or
2) In your SYSTEM.INI file located in your windows directory:
Add the vshare.386 file to the first line of the [386enh] section as shown in the example below:
[386enh]
DEVICE=VSHARE.386
Note: If you are running Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows95 you do not need any of the above steps, VSHARE.386 should already be installed.
Note: You should read the users guide to get started creating your first new database.
Note: If you encounter problems, or would like to comment on the program feel free to drop a E-Mail to me (twccs@aol.com). I will help the best I can.
Thank you for trying Time Keeper.
